Reward for Indian hockey team
HYDERABAD: Suchirindia Developers Ltd. has decided to gift plots of 2,160 square feet on it’s Koral Reef Project to each of the members and the coach of the Indian hockey team which won the Asia Cup championship in Chennai recently.
Dr. Y. Kiron, CEO of Suchirindia, informed the media that the hockey team would be felicitated during the Sankalp Divas (Re-dedication Day) which the Group will be celebrating at Ravindra Bharathi here on November 28. The players will also be given gold bracelets of Rs. 25,000 each.
“When we felicitated the Indian cricket team which won the Twenty-20 World Cup, there were many who suggested why not honour the Indian hockey team also. This is in response to that demand and we hope that the team will continue to sustain the winning spirit,” Dr. Kiron said.
He also said that a run would be organised from Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park to Jubilee Hills Check Post on November 29 featuring the Indian hockey players as part of its efforts to spread the message of the ‘winning spirit’.
