Environmental meet today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 750 students, members of i-pledge, an organisation for addressing environmental issues, will meet here on Saturday to thrash out programmes for creating awareness of ecological issues among the public.

i-pledge (I am Personally Leading Environment Development for a Greener Earth) representatives Rini J.G., Shreya Nair and Vinu Vijayan told mediapersons here on Friday that the conference, to be held at Sree Moolam Club, will discuss all environmental issues. Its members comprise students of various schools. They intend to influence the authorities concerned by raising their voice for judicious use of resources.
