Cycle rally to create awareness of drug abuse

MADURAI: A public awareness cycle rally was held by National Cadet Corps in association with Rotary Club of Madurai Midtown on Thursday to spread the message about health hazards due to the use of tobacco and other forms of drugs.
The need for anti-drug abuse awareness among the youth and public was stressed through this rally.
The cycle rally started at Tallakulam and went through Collector’s Office, Gandhi Museum and Kamarajar Salai to culminate at Tamukkam.
NCC Day
NCC Group Headquarters organised various social service activities as part of NCC Day. The activities included a visit to Government Blind School, K. K. Nagar, by 2(TN) Medical Company cadets.
