35-year-old dies in road accident

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old motorcyclist was killed and another seriously injured when a Chevrolet Tavera hit them at Karkari Mor in East Delhi on Saturday. The accident took place around 2-30 p.m. when Jagbir, a property dealer, and Rishipal were going on a motorcycle. The Tavera hit the motorcycle at Karkari Mor. The injured were rushed to Hedgewar Hospital where Jagbir was declared brought dead. Rishipal is said to be in a critical condition.

The Preet Vihar police have registered a case and arrested the car driver, Ramesh. The car, which was attached to a Faridabad-based taxi service, has been seized.
