Events to mark World AIDS Day

MALAPPURAM: The General Education Department will organise competitions for students of teacher training institutes (TTI) in connection with the World AIDS Day programmes on December 1. Poster making competitions and quiz will be held at the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) at Malappuram and Tirur. A seminar on ‘education for an AIDS-free society’ will also be organised as part of the programme. Papers for presentation at the seminar should also reach the DIET office by November 29. Teachers of all TTIs can take part in the December 1 programmes. — Staff Reporter
