SFI criticises university
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SFI, in a press release on Sunday, expressed its protest against the delay on the part of the University of Kerala in releasing the benefits under the Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship to research students belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe sections.
The SFI said that 48 students in the University were eligible for the fellowship. Each of them was to get Rs.1.2 lakh annually for five years under the fellowship. The university had received the amount meant for them on March 21 this year, but was yet to release it to them. — Special Correspondent
