Help uplift poor, says Justice Bhan

HYDERABAD: Justice Ashok Bhan, Supreme Court judge has appealed for involvement of all in uplifting the poor and help resolve their problems.
Delivering a lecture on the ‘Role of NGOs and paralegal volunteers in legal services to ensure access to justice for all’ here on Saturday, he said, in achieving this task, the support of NGOs and paralegal volunteers was necessary. “We have to serve the downtrodden with commitment and dedication”, he observed.
The lecture was jointly organised by the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and ICFAI MBA School as part of the legal services awareness campaign. The judge who is executive chairman of the National Legal Services Authority, released three books—‘Juvenile Justice’, ‘Human Rights’ and ‘International Commercial Arbitration.’
