This Day That Age
The Communist Party of Nepal has decided to join the civil disobedience movement to be launched by the Democratic Front, according to reports of the party’s decisions that were published in Kathmandu on November 24. The party welcomed the Front’s decision to start the Satyagraha and wanted the food crisis to be tackled on a war footing. There were expectations that political talks for the formation of a new government would soon be initiated. Mr. Tanka Prasad Acharya, former Prime Minister said, “Neither the democratic forces should be ignored nor should anyone undermine the responsibility of the King.”
