BERHAMPUR: News of death of another elephant of the herd that had strayed into Andhra Pradesh has reduced hopes among forest officials about safe return of this elephant herd to Lakhari sanctuary in Gajapati district in Orissa. Gajapati Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Manas Ranjan Bhatt said he had received information about another elephant of the herd dieing of electrocution in Andhra Pradesh from unofficial sources. After this there are six elephants in the stray herd.
