600 youth from Gajwel to be selected and trained in the three government ITIs 132 KV sub station sanctioned for Mulugu mandal costing Rs. 13 crore SANGAREDDY: Minister for Major Industries J.Geetha Reddy said that the Government was determined to provide employment to ten lakh unemployed youth in the State in the next two years. Addressing mediapersons here on Sunday, she said that so far 1,38,000 jobs were created and filled through the Rajiv Udyoga Sri programme in the State. She announced that 600 people from Gajwel constituency would be selected and trained in the three Government Industrial training institutions to be absorbed by private firms, however the selected candidates must bear the expenditure for boarding and lodging during the training period. Industrial developmentShe also pointed out that the constituency would be developed industrially as more and more firms showing interest to establish their unit along the National Highway 7. The Minister said that a 132 KV sub station has been sanctioned for the Mulugu mandal, which would be established at a cost of Rs. 13 crore. With this the Gajwel segment will have three such sub stations completely addressing the low voltage problem. Geetha Reddy said that the upcoming Kodakandla 400 KV sub station would not only improve the quality of the power to Medak but also to the neighboring districts.
