Unscheduled power cuts

TIRUPUR: The ongoing unscheduled power cuts for hours have been affecting the industry and trade here. Though the authorities claim that rural parts of Tamil Nadu experiencing load shedding for half-an-hour a day, the knitwear town and its surroundings goes without power for nearly four hours a day in three intervals for the last couple of days.

Almost all parts of the town went without electricity for around four hours on Friday, causing much inconvenience to the residents.
