PUDUCHERRY: The State-level Children’s Science Congress will be held at the State Training Centre in the Directorate of Education on Monday and Tuesday. The Director of School Education, G. Ragesh Chandra, will inaugurate it at 10 a.m. in the presence of Joint Director R. Vanjulavalli, a press release from Pondicherry Science Forum said. A total of 125 students and 25 teachers from Mahe, Yanam, Karaikal and Puducherry regions would participate. Students between the ages of 11 and 17 can normally take part in the congress. Six projects would be selected at the State-level and would be sent to National Children’s Science Congress, which is being scheduled from December 27 to 31 at Baramati, Pune district, Maharashtra.
