Chennai: Team TVS’s Preetam Dev Moses won Race 1 and 2 of the Group C 2 stroke 150 cc category, in the sixth and final round of the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship (two-wheelers), which concluded at the Madras Motor Race Track, Irrungattukottai, near here, on Sunday.

K. Rajini of Team TVS finished second in both races, while Team Yamaha’s Sriskandarajah and T.K. Vishwanath finished third in Race 1 and 2 respectively.

Moses and Rajini have provisionally won two National titles each, with R. Deepak (Libra Racing) also claiming one title. The confirmed overall results, points and the categories will be released only on Monday, after crowd trouble disrupted Sunday’s race schedule.

Moses also won the Group D 4 Stroke 80-125cc class races. Sriskandarajah and Moses’s teammate Harry Sylvester finished second and third respectively in both races.

In the Group D 4 stroke 125-160cc class, Team TVS swept all three places in Race 1, with Rajini, P. Karthick and Sylvester clinching the first three spots respectively. Rajini finished first in Race 2, while Sylvester finished second. Deepak clinched the third spot.
