University of Kerala Private registration: Applications for private registration for the B.A., B.Com. courses (2008-10) can be submitted till December 7. In addition to the registration fee, a super fine of Rs.250 and a penalty of Rs.450 have to be remitted. Remuneration: The cheques for the remuneration for the evaluation of M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. examinations, done in June-July, will be distributed on November 27 at S.N. College, Kollam. M.Phil. vacancy: There is one vacancy in the ST category for the M.Phil. programme in nano-science and nanotechnology. Applications have to be submitted before 4 p.m. on November 26. Candidates should also report for the entrance examination that will be held at 10.30 a.m. on November 27. Further details can be had through phone, 0471-2414663. Grant: Affiliated colleges and recognised research centres can now apply for grants — for the year 2007-08 — to publish research journals. Applications in the prescribed format should reach the office of the registrar before December 30. Applications invited: Applications have been invited for the posts of project associate (database management), project associate (geomatics), project fellow and technical assistant for a project of the NRDMS at the Centre for Geo-information Science and Technology.
