Nominations called for ARAM awards

PUDUCHERRY: Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, literary wing of the Shriram Group, has called for nominations for its ARAM Award, which carries a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation, says a press release here from the kazhagam.

Anybody can nominate any individual who emulates the spirit and tenets of the Tirukkural.

Also, the nominee’s contribution to society should have brought about a remarkable change in society.

Those who wish to recommend a person for the award can send the person’s details to Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, Greams Dugar, 5th Floor, 149, Greams Road, Chennai – 600006.

The last date for receipt of nominations for the ARAM award is December 15.
