Children’s science congress on November 29, 30

KOLLAM: The State-level National Children’s Science Congress will be held here on November 29 and 30.

The programme, to be held at the Jawahar Bal Bhavan complex will be inaugurated by Labour Minister P.K. Gurudasan.

The science congress is being organised by the NCSTC Network, New Delhi.

The State-level science congress is being organised as a prelude to the national-level science congress to be held at Thiruvananthapuram in January.

Theme

The theme for this year is ‘biodiversity: nurture nature for our future.’ Students and teachers from thirty eight schools all over the State will be participating in the event.

The valedictory function will be inaugurated by Vice-President of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, E.P. Yeshodharan. Director of Public Instruction M. Sivashankar, will preside.
