ALAPPUZHA: Pakistan is now getting a taste of its medicine through the terrorist attacks that have thrown normal life off track there, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan said at Prayar, Kayamkulam near here on Monday. Speaking after dedicating a memorial to Sony Natarajan, an Indian Army soldier who was killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on November 25, 2006, the Chief Minister said Pakistan had supported terrorist groups that were behind violent acts in India, but was now at the receiving end. The fate of any country that supports terrorism will be the same, he said. Lauding the example set by Sony’s parents ex-serviceman Natarajan and Sarala, who had established the memorial to keep their son’s memory alive and to instil patriotism in the younger generation, Mr. Achuthanandan also said that Sony had made the entire country proud by sacrificing his life to protect his motherland. Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran, C.K. Sadashivan, Kayamkulam MLA, and others were present.
