Doctors deputed

Thiruvananthapuram: Thirty five doctors have been deputed for duty at Sabarimala for the next ten days. With that adequate number of doctors have been made available for duty till December 5, says an official release.

A few doctors who had joined duty earlier are continuing their service. Those who reported for work consisted of those deputed from the medical college and NRHM, one doctor from the Health Services, one private practitioner and a neuro surgeon from the medical college. The senior neuro surgeon of the Karakkonam CSI Medical College also reported for duty at Sabarimala Sannidhanam. Several doctors of private and cooperative hospitals have expressed willingness to do duty.
