Railway elections

As much as 47 per cent of Railway employees in the city exercised their franchise in the secret ballot to determine the majority trade union, on Monday the first day of three-day polling.

Four trade unions, the East Coast Railway Shramik Union, the ECR Shramik Congress, the ECR Employees Union and the ECR Mazdoor Union, were trying their luck to get recognition in Waltair Division.
