Ponnala asks Centre to stop work on Babli

HYDERABAD: Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Monday addressed another letter to the Centre seeking stoppage of works on Babli project re-started by Maharashtra. This is against directions given by the Centre and is in violation of tribunal award on sharing of Godavari waters, he said.
