Man deported from Dubai

KOCHI: Mohammed Shareef, 37, a resident of Thrissur, was deported to Cochin International Airport Limited from Dubai after the airport authorities there reportedly detected that a life-long ban was in force against his entry. He left for Dubai on a visiting visa on Saturday.He had worked in a supermarket in Dubai for nine years from 1997. He had cancelled his visa in 2006 before returning home. The reason for imposing the ban is not known, emigration sources said.
