Three get life term in murder case

SRIVILLIPUTTUR: The Virudhunagar Principal District and Session Court on Monday sentenced two brothers, S. Dinakaren (26) and S. Kingsley Joseph (25) and their friend, J. Vasu (26), to undergo life term in connection with a murder case.
According to the prosecution, the trio had killed a Tamil Nadu Electricity Board staff, A. Radhakrishnan (54), at the Avarampatti Tamil Nadu Electricity Board office near Rajapalayam and decamped with Rs. 3.64 lakhs on October 15, 2003.
When the case came up for hearing, the Judge, V. Balasundarakumar, imposed a fine of Rs. 3,000 each on them.
10-year rigorous imprisonment
Besides, another person, M. Thangasamy (36), husband of a Tamil Nadu Electricity Board staff, who had planned the crime, was given 10 years imprisonment and was directed to pay a fine of Rs. 1,000.
