Swamy criticises police attack
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Monday demanded the immediate and unconditional release of activists arrested during a rally in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
In a statement here, Dr. Swamy said citizens and human rights organisations in India were deeply concerned over the violation of rights of the Indians in Malaysia “who have been deliberately marginalised and are in a state of being permanently treated as indentured labour.”
Dr. Swamy criticised the police attack on the demonstrators and the arrest of activists.
