UNWARRANTED HARDSHIP: Vehicles were stranded near the Kengeri-Ring Road Junction on Bangalore-Mysore State Highway during the BJP’s rally on Monday. BANGALORE/ RAMANAGARAM: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jana Jagruti campaign put the general public to inconvenience as vehicular traffic on the busy Bangalore-Mysore road was affected on Monday. The problem started during the morning peak hour as the party supporters began to gather in front of Gali Anjaneyaswamy Temple in Bangalore from 10 a.m. BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa and others arrived at the temple at 10.30 a.m. and commenced the yatra around 11 a.m. The party leaders then addressed the public on Mysore Road and left for Kengeri in an open jeep. As a convoy of vehicles of party supporters followed them, the traffic on the road was affected. It took nearly one hour to reach Kengeri from the Gali Anjaneyaswamy Temple. The problem did not end there as again the cavalcade followed Mr. Yeddyurappa to Ramanagaram. Vehicular traffic came to a grinding halt for sometime at Bidadi and Mayaganahalli where the leaders made a brief stopover.
