Water supply diverted for repairs in canal

NEW DELHI: To carry out some urgent repairs in the Western Yamuna Canal, water supply was diverted for a few hours on Tuesday near Panipat in Haryana.

The diversion led to a dip in the supply for Delhi’s Nangloi and Wazirabad water treatment plants, but the Delhi Jal Board asserted there was no disruption in the supply of water to the city.
