Congress MLA gets anticipatory bail

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to Congress MLA M.K. Vishnu Prasad, who apprehended arrest in connection with the attack on State Youth Congress president Mayura S. Jayakumar on November 11. Justice R. Regupathi directed Mr. Prasad to execute a bond for Rs.10,000 and furnish two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate. — Special Correspondent
