Two militants shot dead in J&K

Srinagar: Two militants were killed and a policeman was injured in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Ultras also shot dead an abducted student.

The militants, suspected to be Pakistani nationals, were killed in a two-hour-long gunfight at Chenad village in Baramulla district, a police spokesman said.

The body of Owais Ahmad Shah — a Standard XII student — was found in Braght area of Sopore in the afternoon.

Shah was abducted by unidentified gunmen from his house on Monday. — PTI
