A.P. girls finish runner-up

VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh girls finished as runner-up and 58 kg category lifter S. Yamini was declared as the Best Lifter in the sub-junior National weightlifting championships held in Imhpal from November 22 to 24.

Medal winners: M. Santoshi (three golds in 44 kg); B. Usha (one gold, one silver and one bronze in 48 kg); S. Anju Bai (two bronzes in 53 kg), S. Yamini (three golds in 58 kg), G. Aruna Rani (three golds in 63 kg) and Sk. Kasim Bi (one bronze in plus 63 kg). — Special Correspondent
