Panther traced in Jalandhar village

Jalandhar: A day after a youth was attacked by a wild animal in Pholriwal village here, District Forest Officer has initiated action to capture the suspected Panther in the area.

Vijay Kumar, who was admitted to the hospital with deep injury marks on his face said that he was attacked by a wild animal when he went to the field to ease himself. District Forest Officer, Satnam Singh said that the wild animal was probably a panther and several teams of the department have been sent to the area to catch the animal.
