Inmate commits suicide in Ajmer jail

Ajmer: An inmate serving life term at the central jail here, on Tuesday, committed suicide by hanging himself, a jail official said.

The deceased, identified as Mangilal of Nagaur district, was convicted for murdering his wife last year, the jail superintendent Preeta Bhargawa said.

The convict also allegedly stoned to death another inmate at this jail on November 10 this year.
