Plea to permit admissions under Muslim quota

HYDERABAD: The State Government has requested the High Court to permit it to complete admissions, including those for Muslims under BC E category, to educational institutions.
The Government filed a petition seeking modification to the earlier orders putting on hold further admissions when the case on reservations to certain categories of Muslims came up for hearing on Tuesday. The division bench comprising Justices T. Meena Kumari, B. Prakash Rao, D.S.R. Varma, A. Gopala Reddy and V. Eswariah heard the arguments for over an hour.
Further hearing in the case challenging the action of the State Government was adjourned to December 5.
