Aslam, Sathish shine

Coimbatore: A fine unbeaten 107 by Aslam Sher Khan and an equally effective 75 by U. Sathish enabled RKS Cricket Academy score a eight-wicket win over Rainbow Cricket Club in the Canara Bank-CDCA first division cricket league for the Pricol Trophy at the PSG Tech grounds here on Sunday.

The scores: First division (Pricol Trophy): Rainbow CC 213 in 44.5 overs (Srinivasan 64, Nataraj 43) lost to RKS CA 215 for two in 32.5 overs (Aslam Sher Khan 107 not out, U. Sathish 75).

Third division (Servall Trophy): Coimbatore Friends CC 274 for four in 50 overs (C.R. Ananda Shankar 102 not out, G. Karthikeyan 54) bt Janaranjani SC 84 in 20 overs (M. Anandakumar four for 24, E. Senthil Rajmohan four for 16).

South India Manchester CC 216 in 49.4 overs (K. Mohan Kumar 56, Yesuraj four for 42) bt MEC CC 126 in 27.3 overs (Mohan Raj 70); Lucky Young Star CC 196 for eight in 50 overs (T. Balakumar 55) bt Ram Nagar CC 146 in 41 overs (L. Manoj 45).
