Easy for NKCM

Namakkal: NKCM Cricket Club (Kumarapalayam) defeated SPB ‘B’ Cricket Club (Pallipalayam) by six wickets in the Canara Bank-DCAN ‘B’ division cricket league on Sunday.

The scores:

SPB ‘B’ (Pallipalayam) 100 in 24.5 overs (Chandrasekar four for 25) lost to NKCM CC (Kumarapalayam) 103 for four in 21 overs; SFCC (Mohanur) 159 in 34.5 overs (Selvam 61 not out) lost to Sun Brothers CC (Tiruchengodu) 160 for five in 35.5 overs.

Cricket tournament

The Sri Ramakrishna Mills prize money knockout limited overs cricket tournament, for Coimbatore District Cricket Association (CDCA) league clubs, will be held during the first week of December.

Entries close with S. Goudhaman, joint secretary, CDCA, C/o. Sri Jaganatha Ginning and Oil Mills, No.1, Avarampalayam Road, New Siddhapudur, Coimbatore-641 044, on November 28. The draw will be held at the R.S. Puram Club on November 30.
