Dindigul: Five goals, including a hat-trick, by Nejumnnisa helped Kerala rout Delhi 9-0 in their second meeting in Cluster ‘D’ league and qualify for the quarterfinal league in the sixth junior girls’ National football championship here on Tuesday. The cluster had been reduced to only two teams, as West Bengal did not turn up, and hence the two had to meet twice, as per rules, to decide the winner. In the first meeting, Kerala had won 8-0. Cluster ‘G’ was also reduced to two teams, as Mizoram did not turn up. Jharkhand, which had thrashed Uttarakhand 11-0 in its first meeting, scored an 8-0 win to qualify for the quarterfinals. The story was same in Cluster ‘F’, as Rajashan did not turn up. Bihar beat Maharashtra 6-0 in its second meeting, after a 5-0 win in the first, to qualify. Three cluster matches remain to be played but they would be inconsequential ones. The eight teams that have qualified for the quarterfinals have been placed in two groups to play the league and the top two from each group will qualify for the knockout semifinals. The groupings: Group I: Manipur, Orissa, Assam, Jharkhand. Group II: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar, Goa. The results: Cluster ‘D’: Kerala 9 (Nejumnnisa 5 (incl. hat-trick), K. Reshmi 2, M. Reshmi, K. Dhanya) bt Delhi 0. Cluster ‘F’: Bihar 6 (Mamta Kumari 2, Ekta Sharma, Kmakansha, Selvanjali Kumari, Sevanjali Kumari) bt Maharashtra 0; Bihar 5 (Mamta Kumari 4, Sevanjali Kumari) bt Maharashtra 0. Cluster ‘G’: Jharkhand 8 (Noumi Merytakisku 2, Sunija Mini, Ranjana Patel, Rajmuni Kumari, Malti Kumari, Saraswan Singh, Abitha Toppo) bt Uttarakhand 0.
