De-recognition of Akali Dal demanded

HOSHIARPUR: An organisation based in Punjab has demanded “de-recognition” of the Shiromani Akali Dal because of its “active participation” in the matters of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

“Malta boat tragedy probe mission” chairman Balwant Singh Khera demanded “de-recognition of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and seizure of its election symbol due to its active participation in the matters of the SGPC and the Delhi Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee”.
