Garbage collection

PUDUCHERRY: The Oulgaret Municipality has decided to entrust the task of garbage collection in Kurunji Nagar at Lawspet to a private agency based in Chennai.

The agency, Hand In Hand, which has taken up the task in Police Complex at D-Nagar and Avvai Nagar in Lawspet, will start its operation in Kurinji Nagar from Friday.

Education Minister M.O.H.F Shahjahan would launch the programme in the presence of Oulgaret Municipality chairman N.S.J. Jayabal, officials said.
