KWA settlement scheme

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has decided to implement a one-time settlement scheme till December 31, 2007 for non-domestic consumers with big arrears.

The Authority would impose only an annual interest of 14.5 per cent in the place of the monthly interest of 2 per cent on the arrears of those who make use of the scheme.

Those interested in settling their dues under the scheme may contact the office concerned of the KWA. — Special Correspondent
