Mithali stars

VIJAYAWADA: An unbeaten double century by Mithali Raj (210 not out, 29x4) and 118 (13x4, 1x6) by Sulakshana Naik helped Indian Railways register 436 for five in the stipulated 90 overs against Karnataka in the semifinals of the all-India senior women’s inter-zonal knock-out cricket tournament at Anantapur on Wednesday. Mithali shared a 180-run partnership with Sulakshana and a 146-run partnership with Rumeli Dhar.

The scores: Indian Railways 436 for five in 90 overs (Mithali Raj 210 not out, Sulakshana Naik 118, Rumeli Dhar 71) vs. Karnataka.

Delhi 161 in 89.1 overs (Swaroopa Kadam four for 32) vs. Maharashtra 17 for no loss in 11 overs.
