LIC in semifinals

KOCHI: LIC shocked last year’s runner-up IAAD 2-1 to enter the semifinal in the men’s section of the ninth inter-institution National carrom championship at the RSC here on Wednesday.

PSPB crushed AIESCB 3-0 to enter the semifianls along with Indian Airlines and BSB. Indian Airlines beat RBI 3-0, while BSB got a walk over from CCSCB.

In the women’s section, IAAD, BSB, RBI and LIC completed the semifinals line-up.
