KOCHI: The CBI court here has sentenced a senior executive of Cochin Shipyard to one-year rigorous imprisonment on charges of accepting bribe. The CBI special judge-I, Ernakulam, under the Prevention of Corruption Act, also slapped a penalty of Rs.17,500 on K. Arumugan Pillai, a Deputy General Manager with the shipyard’s Ship Repair Operations unit. — Special Correspondent
