Orissa couple killed in fire

NAMAKKAL: A couple from Orissa died in a fire at Tiruchengode near here on Monday evening.

The police said neighbours noticed smoke emanating from their asbestos-roofed house and alerted Fire and Rescue Service personnel, who put out the fire. After breaking open the doors, they found the couple lying on the floor with serious burns. They were rushed to a hospital.
