CB-CID files case against Jothi

CHENNAI: The CB-CID on Wednesday registered a case against N. Jothi, AIADMK MP, in connection with an allegation that he had caused loss to the exchequer. Charge was that he had travelled to New Delhi many times using air tickets issued by the PWD on the pretext of representing the govt. before the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal, though there were no sittings during these days. Mr. Jothi has moved the Madras High Court for anticipatory bail.
