BANGALORE: Several senior citizens living in slums in the city staged a demonstration here on Wednesday seeking relaxation in conditions for availing themselves of the benefits under Sandhya Suraksha scheme.

The demonstration was held under the aegis of Akhila Karnataka Vayovruddara Okkoota. The okkoota president Janaki urged the Government to provide free health check-up facility and concession in bus fares for senior citizens. — Staff Reporter
