Music Creators: The students of Thrissur Government Engineering College who brought out the album ‘Harmonics.’ Thrissur: Students of the Government Engineering College, Thrissur, have brought out a music album to celebrate the golden jubilee of the college. The album, ‘Harmonics,’ has 10 songs. Shabin, Vipin Raj, Dijin, Manu, Rahman, G. Reshmi, Dileesh and Soumya Ramesh have written the lyrics. Anoop D. Bhat, Sushobh, Vipin Raj, Prashanth, Neeraj, Varun, Sandeep and Achutha Prakash have tuned the songs. “The album tries to capture the spirit of youth,” says Susobh. The singers include Ramu, Nithish Bhaskaran, Vipin, Varun, Prashanth Venugopal, Neeraj, Salma Ibrahim, Keerthi Nambeesan, Vani Krishnan, J. Rekha and G. Reshmi. The themes include campus life, love and beauty of the world. “The songs are a tribute to our alma mater, our college days,” says Nitheesh Bhaskaran, who has sung the songs Dhanumaasam, Ragam and Neelay. The album, brought out by the college union, is priced at Rs.50. “About 200 copies have been sold,” says Prashanth Venugopal.
