Book on career options released

BHUBANESWAR: City-based Institute of Self Reliance (ISR) has come out with a career guide for the students who are on the verge of leaving school and entering into colleges.

The guide book, ‘Multiple Career Options’, is a 930-page volume containing detailed information about various courses offered by as many as 30,000 educational institutions across the country.

The book also gives details about the career opportunities available in total of 11 countries for Indian students.

The most important feature of the book is that it contains career opportunities in as many as 300 different vocations. The book has the website addresses of 25,000 institutions making it easier to seek information through the Internet.The handbook on career options will go a long way in meeting the needs of students, according to C.V.R. Subudhi, the Programme Coordinator of ISR.

The book is priced at Rs. 277 and is being made available through various chains of bookstores in the country.
