PUDUCHERRY: The D-Nagar police have established the identity of a woman whose body was found inside Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research campus. The victim was identified as Maragadambal (65), a resident of Bimacoundanpalayam in Thattanchavady. It was a murder for gain, the police said. The woman had come to the hospital on November 18 to attend to her daughter who was undergoing treatment. She went missing from November 21, the police said, adding that a complaint had been registered in the D-Nagar station.
