MYSORE: The 22nd year of the national festival of classical dance and music, Parangotsava, will begin from December 19 at the Jaganmohan Palace auditorium here. Veteran artistes Vasundhara Doraswamy (Bharatanatyam), Alekhya Punjla (Kuchipudi), Shankar (Carnatic vocal) and Indrajit Benarji (Sitar) and others will perform. The Department of Kannada and Culture will co-sponsor the event. – Staff Correspondent
