Screening camp for physically challenged on December 3

VIZIANAGARAM: Physically challenged persons who have not attended screening camps conducted from November 20 to 24 can now attend the camp being organised at M.R. District Headquarters Hospital from 9 a.m. on November 30 for receiving artificial limbs and callipers free of cost, according to Joint Collector M. Jagan Mohan.
In a press release issued here on Thursday, he said Bhagavan Mahavir Vikalang Sahayata Samiti, Hyderabad, would distribute artificial limbs and callipers to identified persons at TTD kalyanamandapam here from December 3 to 5.
Free transport
In addition to free transport to the beneficiary, one of the persons escorting her/him would be provided free boarding at the venue, he said.
The persons identified in each mandal must attend on the dates specified at the centre for receiving artificial limbs/callipers.
Those hailing from Salur, Ramabhadrapuram, Parvathipuram, Komarada, Garugubilli, Kurupam, G.L. Puram, Jiyyammavalasa, Makkuva and Pachipenta have to attend the camp on December 3.
Those from Kothavalasa, Vepada, Merakamudidam, L.Kota, Garividi, Cheepurupalli, Badangi, Therlam, Gajapathinagaram, Mentada, Dattirajeru, Bobbili, Sitanagaram and Balijipeta on December 4 and Vizianagaram, Gantyada, Bondapalli, Nellimarla, Gurla, S. Kota, Jami, Denkada, Bhogapuram and Poosapatirega mandals have to attend on December 5.
