UDF team to visit Chinnakanal today

Thiruvananthapuram: United Democratic Front (UDF) convener P.P. Thankachan said here on Thursday that Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy would lead a UDF delegation to the encroached areas in Chinnakanal in Idukki district on Friday. In a statement, Mr. Thankachan said the delegation would include P.T. Thomas, Benny Behanan, and E.M. Augusty of the Congress, E.T. Mohammed Basheer of the Indian Union Muslim League, Joy Abraham of the Kerala Congress (M), Rajan Babu of the Janadhi pathya Samrakshana Samithy, and so on.
