Bhopal: Taking cue from Gujarat, the Madhya Pradesh Government has offered controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen a safe stay in the State, asserting that she would be protected and her honour secured. “If she (Taslima) wishes to stay in Madhya Pradesh, the Government is ready to ensure her safety, security and honour, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told reporters. He was replying to queries on what was his Government’s stand on Taslima, who is facing the ire of minority fundamentalists. PTI
